Terms of service
Updated 31 October 2026
These terms explain how shops, staff, and visitors use HetDee. The outline follows a common shop-software terms page. The rules describe what HetDee actually provides.
1. Words and scope
“Shop” means the person who registers and runs a store. “You” includes that shop, staff the shop allows in, and visitors who open HetDee or a shop’s public page. “Shop data” means the records stored in that dashboard and on that public page. “HetDee” means the operator of this software.
These terms cover the HetDee website, the shop dashboard, and public shop pages. A feature with its own note is covered as well. When we change this page, we change the date at the top. Continuing after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using HetDee and ask us to close the account.
2. Lawful use, content, and accounts
Use HetDee only for a lawful business, and follow the law where you operate. Do not use it to cheat, harass, spread illegal or false information, or sell goods you have no right to sell.
The HetDee website and software belong to the operator. Text, photos, prices, and services you publish on your own shop are yours to answer for, and you must have the right to use them. Do not copy HetDee’s marketing pages into your own product without written permission.
Keep email codes private, and give dashboard access only to staff who need it. Remove access when someone leaves. You are responsible if you share the sign-in.
3. Faults, responsibility, and uptime
Tell us quickly if something breaks, and help us fix it. We are not responsible for loss caused by a delay or a cover-up on your side, or by power, network, or hosting failures we do not control.
A service, product, payment, or buyback between a customer and a shop is between those two. HetDee is not the seller and does not collect the money the customer pays the shop. We do not promise revenue, footfall, or that every booking will be accepted.
The software is provided as it is available. Maintenance, faults, or an outage at WhatsApp, Facebook, or email can make a page unreachable for a while. We will restore it as soon as we reasonably can.
4. The public site and the shop dashboard
We look after the HetDee marketing site. A shop looks after its dashboard and the products, prices, and text on its public page. We do not change your prices or stock unless you clearly ask for help.
We open your dashboard only when you ask for support, to stop an attack, or when the law requires it. You cannot ask to enter another shop or the platform admin area. Work outside what was agreed may be quoted separately.
5. Connected services
A Facebook Page, Messenger, an ads account, Google sign-in, and WhatsApp notices are provided by those companies. Accept their terms as well before you use them. After you connect, we pass only what that feature needs and what you have allowed.
Their outages, fees, and rule changes are theirs. Ad spend is charged on your own ads account, not by HetDee.
6. Contact, the name, and the rest
For help, use the phone, WhatsApp, or email at the bottom of this page. System mail comes only from the address we publish. Do not send shop data to a private inbox. Ignore unexpected code or payment messages, and tell us.
The HetDee name and mark are used by the operator. Do not register a name people could confuse with HetDee to offer the same kind of software. If one sentence cannot be enforced, the others still apply.
7. Customers on a shop page
A booking, order, buyback quote, or contact request is a request to that shop, not a contract with HetDee for the service or the sale. Leave a phone number the shop can reach, and upload only your own device photos or your own payment photo.
Do not abuse the forms or harass the shop or other customers. A booking or order is only a request until the shop confirms it. A buyback price on the page is an estimate. The shop’s inspection decides the final price.
